ISO CHEMIE TAPE FOR AIR TIGHTNESS JOINTS AT UNIQUE PASSIVHAUS PROJECT
As in previous years, our clear and self-explanatory exhibits illustrated the use of individual system products in various connection situations. Visitors to our stand explicitly encouraged to touch the exhibits. They were able to experience at first hand how our quality-tested system solutions positively influence various structural-physical factors in energy-efficient building, particularly airtightness, resistance to driving rain and severe loads on movement joints. These system products, which were specially developed for reliable building sealing, are matched and combinable in terms of both function and application and conform to the German energy-saving ordinance and the recommendations of the “RAL Installation Guide”.
Another main attraction was the practice-oriented demonstration of our ISO-TOP WINFRAMER in-front-of-wall installation system. Our two demonstrators showed lots of interested visitors how simple it is to fit our ingenious ISO-TOP WINFRAMER in-front-of-wall installation system. In addition to the 80 x 80 mm standard version, we presented other system brackets with a maximum projection of 200 mm that can be easily used for in-front-of-wall installation, even in cavity wall buildings, clinker brick facing or for windows with deeper profiles. To supplement these, we also supply system “boards” that can be used for partial installation in front of the wall in combination with thermal insulation composite systems. They can also be adapted with the system brackets to achieve greater overhang.
Other product innovations were ISO-TOP ELASTIFLEX, a highly elastic special PUR spray foam, and ISO-TOP ACRYL FA and ISO-TOP FACADE SEAL, two particularly effective flexible sealants for sealing movement joints.
The first presentation of our ift Installation Pass also attracted particular interest. Working closely with ift Rosenheim, we have developed an easy-to-use online tool for planning and producing structural calculations for properly installed structural connections. We thus support our customers not only in their choice of ift-tested and certified products for fitting in accordance with the “RAL Installation Guide” but it can also be adapted to their site-specific installation situation. With just a few clicks, the customer working on a PC, laptop or tablet out on the road can generate his individual ift installation pass online, providing customised isothermic calculations and technical product information for professional site documentation.
We were delighted by the great interest shown and would like to thank all the visitors who came to our stand.
