The in front of wall installation system for flexible use
In order to offer even more flexibility for the installation and sealing of windows in buildings with thermal insulation composite systems, we have extended our in front of wall installation system by "TYPE 2". This has been specially developed for the installation of windows in the insulation level in front of the load-bearing wall of buildings. The IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER "TYPE 2" has been approved and comprehensively tested by ift Rosenheim and is especially suitable for the installation of small to medium-sized windows.

Combination of conventional console installation and in front of wall installation frame
The IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER "TYPE 2" is especially suitable for the installation of small to medium-sized windows up to 2 m². Due to the low window weights, the load transfer only takes place at the lower connection area, where the ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM BRACKET "TYPE 2" has ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE WF applied and is then glued to the masonry. The system bracket is not only glued air tight but also fixed in place on the masonry using attachment screws.
As with conventional console installation, the window installation is usually carried out using aluminium attachment consoles fixed at the sides. The consoles are then covered with the highly thermally insulating profile and thermally decoupled. The individual insulating profiles are glued to the masonry, ensuring an air tight insulating layer all the way round and a completely thermally decoupled window area. Once finished, this window frame creates an optimum precondition for load transfer and offers an ideal installation level for installation and sealing according to the specifications of the RAL" installation guide".
Efficient and simple installation
The insulating profiles can be cut to the required length using a knife or so-called "hot blade". This allows residual pieces to be used efficiently as well, thus saving costs. The dovetail connection of the insulating profiles help during installation and make much easier handling and clean and technically perfect connection to the masonry possible.
After window installation, the IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER "TYPE 2" can be covered directly by a thermal insulation composite system.
ISO-TOP WINFRAMER INSULATING PROFILE 80/80 and 140/80
The ISO-TOP WINFRAMER INSULATING PROFILE 80/80 is excellent for the installation of window and door elements in the direct transition area between the wall and the EWIS. With a width of 80 mm and a height of 80 mm, in front of wall installation can be realised for most of the window and door systems on the market.
The ISO-TOP WINFRAMER INSULATION PROFILE 140/80 provides a larger projection with a width of 140 mm and a height of 80 mm, and is used for window and door elements with larger fitting depths, for example, or in combination with roller shutter add-on systems.
ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM BRACKET “TYPE 2“ 80/80 and 140/90
ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM BRACKETs “TYPE 2” are used for load transfer in the lower connection area of window and door elements with in front of wall installation. Like the insulating profiles, these are supplied in two different sizes. The ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM BRACKET “TYPE 2” 80/80 (80 mm height and 80 mm width) is used for classic projections.
The dimension 140/90 (140 mm width and 90 mm height) is designed for larger projections of up to 140 mm.
ISO-TOP WINFRAMER ATTACHMENT CONSOLE & SPACER PLATE
The windows are fixed in place using special aluminium attachment consoles which are fastened to the masonry at the sides and top using standard, approved facade screws.
SYSTEM ADHESIVE ISO-TOP FLEX-ADHESIVE WF
ISO-TOP FLEX ADHESIVE WF is a high-quality, neutral cure, single-component, permanently flexible adhesive on a hybrid-polymer basis which has been specially developed for gluing ISO-TOP WINFRAMER INSULATING PROFILEs air tight to the masonry. ISO-TOP-FLEXKLEBER WF remains permanently flexible after curing. Curing is blister-free even at high temperatures. The installation adhesive also makes tension-free structural bonding of the ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM BRACKET “TYPE 2” possible.
It develops its outstanding adhesive properties, usually without needing a primer, on a wide range of surfaces such as e.g. aerated concrete, vertical coring bricks, lime sand brick, concrete, polystyrene and timber.
