IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM MADE FROM 100% RECYCLED MATERIAL

With ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 3” BLUE LINE, ISO-Chemie is launching the first in front of wall installation system on the market whose system battens are made entirely of recycled, highly compressed EPS-R THERMAPOR.

This new development enables the thermal-bridge-optimized installation of windows, doors, and lift-and-slide doors within the insulation layer and combines high load-bearing capacity with a consistently sustainable material concept.

In light of increasing demands for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and a circular economy, recycled building materials are becoming increasingly important. With ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 3” BLUE LINE, ISO-Chemie is expanding its portfolio with a solution that reduces the use of primary raw materials while meeting the technical requirements of modern window installations.

High-Performance Recycled Material
The system studs, made from 100% recycled EPS-R, have a material density of approximately 150 kg/m³ and are characterized by high load-bearing capacity and excellent thermal insulation properties. They enable safe load transfer while also helping to reduce the carbon footprint of construction projects.

Thanks to the material’s durable properties, the in front of wall installation system is suitable for window connections subject to continuous stress and can reduce maintenance and repair costs over the building’s lifecycle.

Furthermore, the system supports sustainable building concepts and can be positively considered in the context of building certifications, such as DGNB or QNG.

Safe load transfer within the insulation layer
ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 3” BLUE LINE is installed all around the window opening and allows for the installation of windows within the insulation layer. The system’s own weight, as well as sash and wind-suction loads, are safely transferred to the load-bearing wall shell via the load-bearing system battens.

Fastening is achieved through a combination of bonding with the specially developed ISO-TOP FLEXKLEBER WF adhesive and additional mechanical screw fastening. Standard window installation screws available on the market can be used for window installation.

For increased structural requirements or large-format window elements, ISO-TOP WINFRAMER ALUMINIUM CONSOLES can also be integrated directly into the designated console pockets. This provides additional load-bearing capacity, for example, for applications in accordance with TRAV, DIN 18008-4, or the ETB guidelines.

Effectively Reduce Thermal Bridges
Thanks to the excellent thermal insulation properties of the recycled material, the in front of wall installation system improves the energy efficiency of the window installation. Optimized Ψ-values help minimize thermal bridges and permanently reduce the risk of condensation and mold growth.

Easy-to-install system
To ensure efficient installation, the system battens feature a dovetail joint that allows for quick and precise length adjustments both in the workshop and on the job site.

The in front of wall installation system can be easily integrated into composite thermal insulation systems and provides a suitable foundation for the standard-compliant three-level sealing of modern window connections. The multifunctional joint sealing tapes and window connection films from the ISO-Chemie window sealing system are available for this purpose.
