HYFI-TECH stands for the hybrid technology developed by ISO-Chemie with integrated foil firewall – a milestone in modern joint sealing. With this innovative technology, multi-layer foil firewalls are integrated directly into the multifunctional joint sealing tape. The result is an intelligent hybrid tape that combines the high air and driving rain tightness of classic foil technology with the movement absorption capacity and processing flexibility of pre-compressed PUR soft foam sealing tapes.

This has resulted in a new generation of multifunctional sealing systems that uniquely combine technological performance, ease of use and durability.

The multifunctional tape developed with HYFI-TECH combines absolute airtightness, excellent protection against driving rain and outstanding thermal and sound insulation in a single product.

Thanks to several integrated foil barrier layers, the RAL quality-tested 3-layer tape is 100% airtight on the room side and reliably prevents heat loss and draughts. In terms of weather protection, ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC impresses with a driving rain tightness of over 1,200 Pa – an important factor in view of increasing extreme weather events with heavy rainfall as a result of climate change.

In terms of functionality, it also offers very good sound and thermal insulation values. In addition, optimum moisture removal is guaranteed, so that the joint dries out quickly and structural damage caused by mould growth is effectively prevented. ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC thus ensures a permanently secure, energy-efficient and durable building envelope.
