WINDOW SEALING SOLUTIONS TO MEET ALL INSTALLATION STANDARDS

Among the products on display will the new ISO-BLOCO WIN2WALL multi-level sealing tape, which combines excellent performance with competitive cost and is specifically designed for sealing the perimeter joint between windows, doors and walls in typical UK buildings.

The new sealing tape can be used to seal gaps from 2 mm to 8 mm, accommodating the vast majority of UK window installations, and comes in two widths to provide extra thermal insulation equivalent to A Rated (40mm tape) or A+ and A++ windows (65 mm tape).

ISO-BLOCO WIN2WALL is applied quickly and easy from inside the building, and is also weather tight to 600 Pa and has excellent acoustic insulation properties – giving the perimeter seal an equivalent or better thermal property than the window unit itself.

Also on display at the FIT show will be the special ISO³-WINDOW SEALING SYSTEM, which is based on the European RAL principle of three level sealing.

In this high performance concept, an external seal provides weather resistance and breathability, while the intermediate seal provides extra thermal and acoustic properties, and the internal layer meets air tightness and humidity requirements.

All three levels are designed to accommodate any movement between the adjacent construction materials.

Special combinations of individual ISO-Chemie sealant products can be utilised in the ISO³-WINDOW SEALING SYSTEM, giving it the versatility to meet specific installation standards and building regulations.

Individual products used in the system include the ISO-BLOCO 600 tapes, ISO-BLOCO HF tape, and various ISO-CONNECT window foils such as the VARIO SD, VARIO XD and FD ranges. Details of all constituent ISO³-WINDOW SEALING SYSTEM products will be provided on the ISO-Chemie stand.
